2012 Scholarly Communications Forum Unconference
An "unconference" is a participant-driven meeting. The term includes a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees, sponsored presentations, and top-down organization.
What this means for this year's unconference, is that anyone who registers for the conference can suggest and lead an informal discussion group on a topic they're interested in.
Theme: Future of Library Collections
Join Houston-area librarians for a half-day forum to discuss the future of library collections and how these changes affect librarians, library service and collection development.
